For many young people in foster care, life has been shaped by circumstances beyond their control. Where they live, where they go to school, and even the opportunities available to them are often determined by someone else.


At the Freedom Youth Foundation, we believe every child deserves something different – the freedom to discover who they are, pursue their passions, and choose the path they want their life to take.


That belief is at the heart of everything we do.


Our mission is to equip foster youth with the opportunities, resources, and supportive relationships they need to build confidence, develop independence, and create futures of their own choosing.


Your generosity helps make programs like these possible:

  • Sports Clinics that introduce youth to new activities while building confidence, teamwork, resilience, and community.
  • Special Experiences with our community partners, including Topgolf, Gracie Barra Jiu Jitsu, Ada County Sheriff's Office, and more!
  • Parker's Closet, providing free, brand new clothing in a boutique-style shopping experience.
  • Scholarships that help remove financial barriers to college, trade school, tutoring, and sports and extracuriculars.
  • Financial Literacy and Employment Readiness training to prepare foster youth for success as they enter adulthood.

These programs are about more than meeting immediate needs – they’re about opening doors.


A child who discovers a love for basketball may gain the confidence to join a school team. A teenager who receives professional clothing for an interview may land their first job. A scholarship may make higher education possible for someone who never thought they’d have the chance. Every opportunity expands what’s possible.
