DESCRIPTION:Join us at the Freedom Youth Foundation\, where we empower foster\, kinship\, and adopted youth through sports and transformative experiences!\n\n\nJoin our mascot\, Coco the Panda\, for a live reading of our debut children’s book\, Max and Sophie’s Second Chance. We’ll be in the Martie Brennan Multipurpose Room at the Library! at Bown Crossing for the uplifting story of two siblings navigating the foster care system and finding their forever family. \nImportant Event Details:\n\nArrival Time: Please arrive 10 minutes before the event starts to ensure a smooth check-in.\nNotification of Cancellations: If you or your child cannot attend\, let us know as soon as possible so we can adjust food orders and allocate our resources effectively.\nParental Presence: Foster parents and guardians are not required to stay during the event. While we encourage your presence to support your child\, we trust your judgment on whether to stay.\n\n \nEvent Information:\n\nWho: Open to foster\, kinship and adopted youth of all ages and their siblings.\nWhat: Participants will enjoy a live reading of Max and Sophie’s Second Chance\, joined by our mascot\, Coco the Panda.\n\n \nWhat to Bring:\n\nA water bottle for hydration.\nA positive attitude and readiness to have fun!\n\n \nFAQs:\n\nWhat ages can participate? Youth of all ages are welcome.\nWhat is the purpose of the event? To provide foster youth and their siblings with an engaging\, community building experience.\nWho can attend? The event is open to all foster\, kindship and adopted youth and their siblings.\nHow long is the event? The reading will last up to two hours.\nIs the event free? Yes\, there is no cost to attend.\nWhat should participants bring? A water bottle and a positive attitude.\nWill food and drinks be provided? Lunch will be provided after the event\, but it’s a good idea to bring your own water.\nWho will supervise the event? Our experienced volunteers and staff will lead and supervise all activities.\nWhat safety measures are in place? We prioritize safety\, with protocols in place to ensure a safe and fun experience.\nHow do I sign up or volunteer?
