DESCRIPTION:This two-session program combines our Financial Literacy and HR Employment Readiness Trainings.\n\n\nCompletion of both sessions qualifies you to apply for the FYF Empower scholarship. \n  \nThe Foundations for Your Future series is designed to equip foster youth ages 13-23 with the knowledge and practical skills needed to thrive financially and professionally. Over two engaging sessions\, participants will explore key topics such as budgeting\, saving\, investing basics\, resume building\, job interview preparation\, and more. Each session blends interactive learning with real-world tools\, ensuring youth leave empowered to take charge of their futures. \n  \nPLEASE NOTE: Youth will need to come with access to a working email address\, whether their own or a guardian’s\, in order to access the training modules. \n  \nWhy Attend?\n\nRequired to apply for the FYF Empower College & Trade School Scholarship program\nFree\, hands-on training tailored for foster youth and families\nAccess to interactive tools\, calculators\, and resources in the Financial Literacy Hub\nOnline tools sponsored by ICCU and the Idaho Department of Labor\nSupportive environment that encourages learning and growth\n\n  \nAgenda \n10:30 AM – 11:30 AM: Financial Literacy Part One (breakfast snacks provided)\n11:30 AM – 11:45 AM: Break\n11:45 AM – 12:45 PM: Financial Literacy Part Two\n12:45 PM – 1:00 PM: Break\n1:00 PM – 1:45 PM: LUNCH and Guest Speaker: Idaho Launch Program\n1:45 PM – 2:00 PM: Break\n2:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Employment Readiness Part One\n3:00 PM – 3:15 PM: Break\n3:15 PM – 4:00 PM: Employment Readiness Part Two \n  \nThis series is free for all foster youth ages 13-23\, and parents are welcome to stay and observe.
